I’m Rachael Lancaster, a NYC-based Aussie and Naturopath. (And besotted Mama to "Eleven" the ex-street kitty.)

My plant-based journey has spanned 20+ years. My motto is Eat to Empower because eating plant-based empowers you to create positive change and powerfully impact:

My health and well-being journey wasn't always rosy:

My interest in plant magic began in my Great Grandmother’s garden and my mother’s kitchen: a little girl concocting “health & beauty” elixirs from plants. But my journey to health and wellness had plenty of “weeds” along the way: fatigue, depression, anxiety, stress, weight gain, tummy troubles, and a generous sprinkling of self-doubt.

I didn’t feel good.
 

This "not-so-great" feeling continued into my twenties, because I had no idea how to look after my body. (The glossy mags told me eating bowls of boiled white rice with margarine was healthy. And my after-school job was at a famous fried chicken chain.)

Then I discovered Naturopathy.

This exciting new path uncovered ways to heal my own body naturally, and I developed a realization that knowledge IS power. There’s no shame in not knowing how to care for our body, because we have “quick fix” pills and diets and mountains of info coming at us from all angles. Wading through all that to find the truth is exhausting. That’s where I can help!

I have been there and know what it's like to feel unwell. And I also know how to teach you to feel and look great!
 


Life likes to throw challenges at us, and moving to the wonderland called NYC a few years back brought up a new one:

MOVING TO A NEW COUNTRY MADE ME FEEL LIKE A PLANT-BASED NEWBIE and I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO EAT BECAUSE ALL THE Products WERE DIFFERENT. I GET WHAT IT'S LIKE TO be confused about what to eat. It’s SO MUCH EASIER WHEN YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO HELP YOU NAVIGATE THE MAZE!


My approach is multi-dimensional, and weaves the jigsaw puzzle of mind, body, and soul into a collaborative experience where you are guided and nurtured to uncover your own unique version of high-end well-being. Drawing on my expertise and experience from over 15 years in the holistic wellness space, I have developed a work ethic that embraces a mix of professionalism and discretion plus genuine warmth and empathy.


I love to work with people from all walks of life, which has included a Vogue editor, Burlesque performers, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home Moms, plus the occasional real-life witch. The common theme amongst them is a desire to do the work to transform.

Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy: 2012 Nature Care College, Sydney, Australia

I received an extensive 3-year full-time face-to-face education from one of Australia's leading Naturopathic Medicine Colleges. I graduated with a deep appreciation of how the human body works in health and dis-ease, and an impressive toolkit including hundreds of hours of nutrition and herbal medicine, plus numerous other modalities. Naturopathy taught me how to be a Personal Health & Wellbeing Architect, helping to put the jigsaw puzzle of health together. We are all unique, and one approach doesn't suit everyone. Please note: I am a Traditional Naturopath. This means I use natural and powerful methods to help people achieve their health and wellbeing goals. I am not a medical doctor (MD), nor a Naturopathic doctor (ND). I don't diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure disease, nor do I prescribe medication, offer testing, or perform surgery.

Diploma of Aromatherapy: 2002 Nature Care College, Sydney, Australia

Aromatherapy is a beautiful and powerful modality to use for promoting good health and for supporting stress reduction. I developed a passion for using essential oils from plants and flowers to create beautiful, effective blends to nourish your body, to create your own tranquil sanctuary at home, or for travel and work. I love tinkering in the kitchen to whip up delectable lip balms, scrubs, cleansers and body oils. Ask me how to use aromatherapy in your daily life, or for specific concerns. I use a range of brands that I have fully researched for quality and ethics. Keep a look out for my range launch later this year!
